Gap Turns Its Iconic Denim Into Handbags
Gap is stepping into the handbag market with GapBag, its first dedicated handbag collection, designed by accessories executive Reed Krakoff. The collection transforms familiar Gap signatures—including five-pocket denim and the classic hoodie—into a new range of bags.
The lineup features five silhouettes: the Five-Pocket Tote, Hoodie Tote, Favourite Tote, Crescent Bag and Shoulder Bag. Denim, fleece, canvas and faux suede bring Gap’s everyday aesthetic into the accessories space, with charms, keychains, scarves and belts also available for personalisation. The GapBag Fall 2026 collection launches September 8, 2026
